Refund Policy

When and how you can request a refund from Nirman Gyan OS.

1. What we charge for

  • Buyer contact-unlock — ₹49 per supplier reveal (first 3 free per RFQ).
  • Buyer RFQ expansion — ₹49 for a fresh batch of suppliers.
  • Supplier packet-unlock — variable (≈0.1% of the material opportunity value).
  • BOQ Smart Report — ₹79 for a downloadable construction-cost report.

2. Default rule

Paid digital services that have been delivered — unlock executed, contact details revealed, supplier slot claimed, or report rendered — are non-refundable by default.

3. Eligible refund scenarios

  • Double-charge: Razorpay debited you twice for the same payment. Full refund within 7 working days.
  • Failed unlock with debit: the unlock did not complete on our side but money was debited. Full refund within 7 working days.
  • Slot filled mid-payment: a supplier paid for a packet slot which was filled by another supplier while their payment was in flight. Full refund.
  • Inactive supplier revealed: a buyer unlocked a supplier's contact and the supplier turns out to have been disabled by us before the unlock. Full refund.
  • Expansion produced duplicates: the paid ₹49 expansion delivered a batch identical to the previous batch (system bug). Full refund.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@nirmangyanos.com (subject line: Refund request <intent_id>) within 7 days of the disputed transaction. Include yourintent_id and razorpay_payment_id from the in-app payment receipt. We respond in 3 working days and resolve eligible cases within 7 working days.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds are processed via Razorpay back to your original payment method. UPI refunds typically reflect within 24 hours; debit/credit card refunds may take 5–7 working days depending on your bank.

6. Material-order disputes (between buyer and supplier)

Nirman Gyan OS does not hold material payments. If you have a dispute on the price, quality, or delivery of the underlying material, we will help mediate but cannot refund the material price because we never received it. Open a support ticket with both parties' details and we will coordinate.

7. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your bank or card network, we cooperate fully with Razorpay's dispute process and may temporarily suspend the relevant account during investigation. False chargebacks may lead to permanent account termination.
